    • A Washington State native, David Maniago is a dedicated Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a wealth of experience and a diverse background. As a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he demonstrated his commitment and resilience through two combat deployments in 2011 and 2012, which laid the foundation for his disciplined and compassionate approach to healthcare.

    • From 2014 to 2023, David continued to serve his community as a Firefighter/EMT/Team Lead and advanced his clinical expertise as an ICU Registered Nurse, gaining invaluable experience in both emergency response and critical care.

    • Throughout his career, David has encountered a broad spectrum of healthcare challenges. He has managed acute emergencies such as heart attacks and strokes and provided care for critically ill patients in the ICU, dealing with trauma, diabetes complications, arrhythmias, and respiratory issues. His work in emergency services, clinics, and hospitals underscores his commitment to proactive and comprehensive care.

    • Since becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2023, David Maniago has focused on enhancing his skillset to provide personalized, compassionate care and be more involved in every step of his patients' health journeys.

    • With experience in cardiology and health risk assessments, David has shifted his attention to functional health and preventative medicine.

    • This transition was prompted by the global prevalence of heart disease and diabetes, conditions he frequently encountered in his work from the U.S. to Latin America.

    • Recognizing the need for a more proactive (versus reactive) approach, he aims to address chronic conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity before they escalate.

    • David is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)

    • Beyond his clinical practice, David functions as a subject matter expert for the fire department, mentoring and assisting with continuing education for Firefighters and EMTs.

    • David also continues to lead a medical services department in partnership with Comunidad Cristiana de Adoración Sinaí in Bogotá, Colombia. Collaborating with local community leaders, nurses, and doctors, he developed a healthcare program offering walk-in urgent care, chronic disease management, patient education, and resource coordination to enhance healthcare access to underserved populations.

      • His efforts so far have provided care to over 250 patients.

    • In his free time, David enjoys skating, hiking, and traveling!
